Topic: The Power of the Blood
According to the dictionary definition - "Blood is the red fluid that is pumped from the heart and circulates around the body of humans". Blood is therefore a vital life force, which means, in effect, man cannot exist without blood.
According to the bible, the infallible word of Yahweh, man became a living being when Yahweh breathed into him, and man became a living soul (Genesis 2:7). Man had regular fellowship with Yahweh, but when he sinned he was separated from Yahweh, and the fellowship between man and Yahweh was broken (Genesis 3:23-24).
However, in the process of time Yahweh sent His eternal Son, Jesus Christ, into the world to restore the fellowship He, Yahweh, had with man and also restore the authority and dominion that was taken from man. In bringing this to fulfilment Jesus Christ had to die on the cross. Jesus died, was buried, and after three days He rose again and He ascended into heaven.
Amongst many, one of the most important things was the shedding of His blood on the cross, because life is in the blood (Leviticus 17: 11). Jesus Christ, therefore, gave His life to save us (mankind).
The blood that Jesus shed is still as powerful today as it was the very day it was shed on the cross of Calvary. It is so powerful that it does not only save the sinner, it sets the captives free and even the kingdom of darkness trembles at the application of the blood and even the mention of His name. The blood that Jesus shed is real and divine.
Whoever you are and no matter what you have done, there is healing, there is deliverance and there is protection in the blood that Jesus shed (Romans 3 24-26, Ephesians 1:7).
Try Jesus today, and you'll be glad you did. The use of His name and the blood which is the most potent force in the world will set you free from every work of darkness, because there is no other name given to man that can save except the name of Jesus Christ (Revelation 12:11).
